Appointed by European Private Banking Group with total AUM over 400 billion and hiring over 500 employees in the North Asia Regional Branch to search for high potential talent to join the Discretionary Portfolio Investment Team.

As part of the Regional Team in Hong Kong, the successful key jobholder will be tasked with the following accountabilities – 

Job Duties

  • Assistant Portfolio Managers in delivering an outstanding investment proposition 
  • Supporting high net-worth clients’ portfolio rebalancing, cash and trade monitoring 
  • Ensure the timely execution of investment transaction 
  • Conduct regular product and market research across all asset classes
  • Adhere to all compliance procedures and processes 

Requirements

  • CFA candidate. Well qualified graduate in Finance or related disciplined 
  • 3 years +/-progressive/relevant investment management research and trade execution experience 
  • Familiar with global and greater china capital markets 
  • Prior asset management or private banking experience is highly desirable 
  • Adaptive to working in a highly international environment 
  • Good Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Good Proficient in speaking both English and Mandarin

Job Duties
  • Manage daily trust administration and ongoing operations including vesting of shares, injection/distribution of assets, incorporation of holding company, bank account openings
  • As the key gatekeeper in reviewing trust and KYC documents in accordance with the proper compliance
  • Maintain client relationships and conduct regular reviews to cope with clients’ trust needs

  • Accountable for managing life insurance case management for UHNW Private Clients in Greater China markets  
  • Serve as the bridge between insurance companies, private bankers and  Clients 
  • Support Bankers/Clients with medical booking, and preparation of documents for new/annual renewal of applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
