Our Client
Representing the most sustainable Global Private Bank with established operations in over 20 locations to search for in -house Legal Counsel with strong Derivatives Products /ISDA & advisory exp to be part of the North Asia Regional Legal & Compliance Function!
Job Duties
- Provide legal advisory; derivative products transaction, negotiation and documentation with counterparties
- Advise & support front office, senior management and other departments to ensure the fulfilment of regulatory requirements & corporate governance
- Assume part of the L&C team to address any legal & regulatory issues including litigation & clients’ complaints etc.
- Facilitate review/development of procedures/policies in accordance to any legal & regulatory changes
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 4 years+post qualification experience earned from international law firm or in–house financial institutions
- Good understanding of multi-asset of financial products and documentation, including structured notes, OTC derivatives, investment funds and private equity funds
- Familiarity with ISDA and derivatives documentation an advantage
- Proven legal advisory/transaction management expertise and in particular, relating to law and regulation of financial services in Hong Kong and/or Singapore
- Knowledge of HK/SGP regulatory requirement and private banking business model is highly desirable
- Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
