Job Duties

As part of the Regional Business Management Function to perform the following:-

  • Tasked with the mission to monitor Front Office daily business activities including suitability, account opening, AML, product advisory and Investment related aspects
  • Facilitate new business/products and transformation/regulatory initiatives 
  • Review daily activities to ensure fulfilment of regulatory requirements/corporate governance
  • Oversight on-going monitoring and lifecycle reviews with triggers from market events  
  • Enhance/review workflow process/framework to ensure the fulfilment of regulatory, audit and governance requirement 
  • Act as the SME to advise/consult business/senior management on daily business activities 
  • Facilitate regulatory/remediation projects and investigation 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting/ Business/Legal or related disciplines
  • 5 years+/- of relevant front office business management, risk and regulatory change related project management experience 
  • Strong risk control mindset with good knowledge of MAS/SFC is highly desirable 
  • Good understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements related to suitability, AML/CDD and trade process
  • Understanding of cross asset classes of investment products/ private wealth management business is essential 
  • Driven with strong problem solving capability and communication skill to work with internal stakeholders
