Appointed by the most respected & established family owned European Private Bank with established operations in over 15 countries to search for Private Banking Business & Regulatory Compliance for the North Asia Branch in HK.

Job Duties

  • Report to the North Asia Chief Compliance Officer
  • Proactive advisory to business from front to back office with any regulatory changes 
  • Continuous monitoring of daily business activities to ensure the fulfilment of HKMA/SFC regulatory/corporate governance
  • Review of compliance policies from conducting gap/impact analysis to implementation of policies/cultivation of compliance culture 
  • Active participation in managing regulatory enquiries/relationships and any regulatory related inspection/audit
  • Key participant in driving regulatory/compliance related projects with headquarters

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting/ Business/Legal or related disciplines
  • 6 years+/- of relevant private banking/wealth management business risk or regulatory compliance experience 
  • Profound understanding of private banking business is essential
  • Good understanding of HKMA/SFC regulatory requirements
  • Driven with strong problem solving capability and communication skill to work with internal stakeholders
