Mission: This is an expansion APAC headcount to drive the Technology, Automation, Streamlining for Finance & Accounting Process, Operations and Reporting to cater for the group’s business expansion and global standards.
Based in HK, this role functions as a key bridge between regional finance operations and global technology leadership. The position combines deep regional finance and tax domain knowledge with hands-on technology capabilities—to optimize processes, financial systems, build tailored solutions/reportings, and modernize regional financial operations.

Working in partnership with the most established global private equity firm with over USD 450bn AUM to search for quality APAC Finance Process, Automation Transformation Specialist.
Job Duties
- Regional SME & Finance Tech/Systems Lead: Own APAC finance process architecture, ensuring local operations and tax/regulatory requirements (GST, withholding tax, multi-currency) align with global platforms.
- AI & Tech Champion: Lead AI and tech adoption (GenAI, SQL, BI) to automate regional workflows and modernize finance operations.
- Hands-on Solution Delivery: Build low-code apps (Power Platform, Appian) and custom scripts (Python, SQL, VBA) to solve business challenges, managing Agile delivery from requirements through UAT.
- Global Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between APAC users and US Finance/IT leadership, managing time zones and aligning cross-regional stakeholders.
- Operational Support & Enablement: Support APAC financial close cycles, resolve system issues, and train regional teams on self-service automation tools.
Requirements
- Edcation: Well qualified graduate in Finance, Accounting, Information System or related discipline
- Background: 6+ years in regional finance & accounting operations, business systems, or process improvement with international asset management, alternative investments, private equity, or corporate finance.
- Tech Capabilities: Hands-on experience building low-code apps and writing practical scripts (Python, SQL, VBA).
- AI Mindset: Active experience applying Generative AI, BI tools (Power BI, Sigma), and smart workflows to solve real finance problems.
- APAC Finance/Accounting Expertise: Solid grasp of regional tax and regulatory nuances (GST, withholding taxes, multi-currency, cross-border flows).
- Execution & Influence: Proven ability to manage cross-border projects, write functional specs in Agile environments (Jira), and align global stakeholders.
- Seasoned Global and Regional Project/Stakeholder Management: Proven track record in driving and implementing Finance/Accounting Process and Systems related projects that required strong adaption to working across different time zone.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is strongly preferred.

Job Duties
As part of the CFO office, you will be entrusted with the following accountabilities
- Responsible for the GP Finance, Corporate & Financial Accounting, Audit and Taxation aspects
- Responsible for coordinating with internal/external counterparts for financial reporting to ensure the compliance with local GAAPs
- Oversight internal/external audit to fulfil local statutory/group reporting requirements
