Our Client
Job Duties
- Co-ordinate and plan the local and international movement of goods; implement best practices and supervise logistics services of 3PL to ensure delivery / service requirements are fulfilled for the assigned country
- Ensure that goods loading and transportation processing is handled on time and in line with customer needs; work closely with Customer Service, Shipping and Forecasting Team to ensure fulfillment of orders
- Lead, coordinate and oversee the service of external providers; manage logistics planning process including inbound, warehousing and outbound shipments
- Work cross-functionally to implement strategic initiatives; work with global team and 3PL to enhance the system interface and make sure the data integrity
- Drive logistics process improvement and cost optimization
- Manage, coach and train a team of more junior staff and clerks; sets individual goals that link to departmental priorities; makes hiring decisions and drives performance management, recognition and rewards
- Implement information systems when needed
- Manage the logistics reporting and analysis process; deliver logistics report to stakeholders including 3PL parties, vendor OTD reports and scorecards
Requirements
- Degree holder with 5-8 years relevant working experience in warehousing, transportation management, import & export logistics
- Possesses solid knowledge of national and international transportation policies and practice
- Strong exposure in service provider management
- Proficient in MS-Office, familiar with ERP/SAP and WMS system
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a must
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are essential; good people acumen and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated collaborative orientation in team environment and a very high level of personal efficiency
- Ability to deal with ambiguity; effectively interface and develop internal partnerships
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Specialist
