Job Duties
- As part of the Asian/Global equity research team with country responsibilities for the Asian investment product
- Formulate investment ideas and house view through analyzing, interpreting and forecasting financial information on companies, sectors and countries
- Conduct third party research, direct management contact, visits and conference calls
- Generate timely & quality written commentaries and investment recommendation on companies as well as thematic notes on countries under coverage
- Work in close partnership with bankers, investment specialist and occasionally attending clients pitch
Requirements
- CFA and well qualified graduate in Economics or related disciplined is highly desirable
- Steady track record with 10+/- years relevant Equity Research and Investment Commentaries experience is essential
- Familiar with the Greater China & Asian Equities Markets
- Excellent written and presentation skill in English and Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively articulate investment ideas
