Job Duties
- Report to Regional Head of Indirect Procurement, manage and improve the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process for Asia Pacific Retail Design and Construction
- Partner with Business Managers to review, analyze, and negotiate with new suppliers to favorable pricing and terms and conditions including risk assessments. Identify optimization opportunities with existing suppliers
- Align with functional counterparts in global headquarters on strategic directions and implementation
- Support business as usual activities as well as involving in ad-hoc projects to drive procurement and category excellence
Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in corporate indirect procurement at multi-national corporations
- Familiar with the retail design and construction category at a regional level
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and strong track record in building effective working relationships with senior level business partners and internal/ external stakeholders
- Strategic minded with the ability to challenge status quo and drive new ideas
