We are hiring Senior Data Scientist Expert!
Our client is a global high-tech materials manufacturer with continued success and innovation. This is a new headcount in its growing advanced analytics team, covering the Asia Pacific. Joining a team of Data Scientists and Engineers, you will be the AI / Machine Learning expert and handle regional projects independently.
Job Duties
- Generate business insights and prepare the storyline to present to business partners
- Use Machine Learning techniques to optimize prediction models
- Create and improve data visualization and decision tools for the business
- Use tools such as Python and Tableau to create and implement efficient data models and data pipelines
- Coach junior users on topics such as Tableau dashboard development, data analytics, and data modelling
- Create automation and other solutions using mathematical optimization and discrete-event simulation
- Lead Advanced Analytics projects with cross-functional team members and multi-aspects objectives; Manage project timeline and resource requirements
- Develop business cases. engage with business stakeholders, and drive operations transformation programs
Requirements
- An advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Decision Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Management, or equivalent;
- 6-10 years working experience in related analytics areas;
- Strong understanding of a variety of machine learning techniques and proven ability in applying to solve real world business problems;
- Fluent in a production-ready programming language such as Python;
- Proficiency in data visualization tools or libraries such as Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight, or Plotly, Seaborn, matplotlib, etc;
- Experienced with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow;
- Familiar with Jira, Gitlab, confluence or equivalent project management tools;
- Familiar with agile project management approaches;
- Excellent presentation skills in English.
