Appointed by one of the longest established Private Equity Investment Company based in HK to search for Paralegal for Legal & Compliance Department.
Job Duties
- Report to CEO
- Accountable for providing portfolio/transaction and deal related legal documentation review by working closely with investment team
- Responsible for corporate/fund structure and LP/GP advisory
- Ensure fulfilment of FATCA/CRS and BVI/Cayman requirements
- Oversight and monitor outsourced legal/compliance vendors
Requirements
- Degree holder with 5 years+/- relevant Paralegal/Junior Lawyer including 2 years relevant experience with private equity exposure
- Qualified lawyer is a definite advantage
- Prior experience in managing corporate and portfolio/deal related legal advisory
- Independent and multi-tasked with strong passion to take up accountabilities
- Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Job Duties
- As part of the AP Distribution Department to oversight regional KYC/CDD function
- Accountable for managing new and periodic CDD/KYC assessment for low to high risk institutional and intermediaries’ clients
- Conduct PEP, sanctions, adverse news and STR review etc.
