Our Client
Representing the North Asia Branch of a pure play European Based Private Bank with total AUM USD 138Billion+ to search for Head of Business Monitoring & Surveillance.
Job Duties
- Assume FO Business Risk Management function by supervising a small team of 2
- As 1st line of defense to oversight full spectrum of FO risk aspects including Product Suitability/Selling Process; Deposit Protection Scheme/Payments etc.
- Manage suitability review programs and resolve any escalated issues by working in partnership with Compliance, Risk, COO Mgmt office
- Attend senior mgmt/committee meetings to identify any findings related to suitability/regulatory/risk control issues
- Provide/Consult front office on post/pre trade monitoring/suitability issues/regulatory updates
- Review/Establish control framework to system enhancements related initiatives
- Promote risk control/regulatory culture
- Participate in any regional/headquarters ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- 10 years+/- Business Risk & Management Experienced earned from int’l private bank
- Well versed with selling process and suitability framework
- Familiar with Private Bank and regulatory requirements
- Seasoned communication skill & stakeholder management
- Trilingual candidate
